An acceptable use policy is extremely important for any tech-enabled classroom. To give my students more ownership and accountability for this piece of our classroom, we will be writing our acceptable use policy collaboratively. During the first week of school, we will spend time discussing:

 

• How and when to use mobile devices

• How and when to use tablets

• What to do when students are completed with their tech assignment

• Digital citizenship (Check out the link to read more about the importance of digital citizenship!)

 

Each of these areas will be a critical component of our class' acceptable use policy.
